The medal winning wines are made from Bacchus and Pinot Noir grapes grown exclusively at Lavenham Brook Vineyard. Piers Greenwood, one of Britain’s leading winemakers creates our wines from grapes hand-selected and picked by local people ensuring that only premium quality fruit is used. Quality rather than quantity is our principle!
Our orchard grows heritage varieties of English apples very rarely found today. From them come juices, produced from a state of the art pressing facility, providing tremendous flavour and enjoyment.

Lavenham Brook Bacchus 2009
The initial elderflower aroma gives way to the full, fruity flavour of the Bacchus grape. Not too strong at 11% alcohol, it is good to drink on its own or as an accompaniment to classic white meat, fish, oriental and vegetarian dishes.

Lavenham Brook Bacchus 2010
“Pale silver lime-leaf green. Pronounced Bacchus with greengage and nettle, honey overtone. Medium-dry, very fresh acidity, greenfruit and herby accent, well-balanced, lovely length.”

Lavenham Brook Pinot Noir Rosé 2010
“Pale salmon-pink. Red berry fruit, touch of forest floor. Medium sweetness, crisp acidity in balance, a little grip, nice fruit across the palate, fair length.”
Great to drink by itself it is an excellent accompaniment with rice, pasta and spicy fish dishes.

Lavenham Brook Kidd’s Orange Red
First grown in 1924, this is our sweetest variety with a lovely rich flavour. It’s a sure fire winner with children. The beaming smile that comes over a child’s face, when persuaded to try it, is great to see.
It makes an excellent mixer with spirits. Adults often prefer this juice chilled when drunk by itself.

A variety bred in 1930 giving a full medium-sharp flavour to our most popular juice. The first frosts of Autumn are often here before these are ready for picking.
The juice is honey coloured and is our most popular variety.

Lavenham Brook Worcester Pearmain
An old favourite from 1874. The juice has an aromatic medium sweet taste with hints of strawberry and is both light and very smooth. A delightful summer drink. It is our earliest apple, ready at the end of August.
